Using Swiss-type CNC screw machines, we manufacture precision turned parts for aerospace, automotive, military, and fluid power applications. Star and Citizen models of screw machines at our job shop facilitate the production of components ranging from miniature screws to long cylindrical parts up to 18" in length. Materials commonly processed by these screw machines include steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and brass. Our screw machines are best suited for machining components with diameters up to 1-1/4". The Star SR32J Sliding Head CNC lathe features as many as 27 tools, which enables us to manufacture completely machined parts in one setup.
In addition, the Star CNC screw machines have separate tooling for the main spindle and sub spindle to overlap machining operations such as boring, drilling, as well as tapping, which in turn reduces cycle time. Parts manufactured through our screw machining process have high surface quality that is comparable with ground finishes.
